fuck me, its not a hardcore hill, as with any race there will be crashes because everyone is fighting for the one spot (first place), and when you crash you loose skin, unless you are wearing leathers. thats just racing. the surface has imperfections in it, but for anyone with a bit of perspective, they arent of much consequence.

Got some footage of the hill today and a few photos close up to give you a better idea of the surface. Will get them up some how, some where soon....

Quite a scary hill thou, rough and the un-even surface is really really scetchy. There will be blood with 4 guys gunning it from the top!!!!!

Loving that spirit, Phil.
Anyway, going to make myself a maybe now. If I can't find an easier way to get there then I'll wait for another race. Although the hill may not be worth the trek, I do like to get out of my area and shred with new people

YES!

I'm starting to feel like people are getting what this is about, this is not going to be one of a grand total of 3 DH races for the year, this is all about high repeatability, get to it if you can, if you cant no biggy, there is gonna be more! the hill is a compromise but it doesnt matter, its just one of what will hopefully be many races this year! if we only ran races on perfect roads, we wont have many races. with any luck I should be able to organise at least 4 of these myself this year, quite posibly more. the more interest shown the more likely that will be, and the more spots people find for me to do them on the more likely they will be closer to you. AND if we can show people how easily a simple event can be run we might get a few more people organising events, how awesome would it be if we could have at least one outlaw a month on the eastcoast of NSW! get your thinking caps on people. a race doesnt have to be a perfect hill or an all day event with DJs and sponsors, it doesnt have to be a huge deal.

If we are to grow the competitive DH racing scene we need to start at a grass roots level.
