Due to popular demand we're having yet another all-girls event! Wooo! Dudes please encourage your partners, girlfriends, sisters, mothers to come along
We'll meet at Hopkin Skate and then walk to the car park location.
If you have a board and helmet bring it along, but if not we'll have a bunch for you to try out. Don't worry if you've never skated before, this event is a chance to learn the basics. Whether you want to learn to push, stop, carve or slide this is the event for you!
At 2pm for those who are keen come and check out the beginner skate race at the local bike track. It's a gentle track. Get in and race, or just watch and learn. We'll be walking to the track after the Maidens skate.

I went to the carpark yesterday and it was still very dry. The bottom section is mostly dry, still good for a skate
My girl isn't gonna be there, she's sick and has work early Monday morning so she has to try and sleep it off. I will try and bring her next time, if there is one. Peace
Thanks Lea, was a bit worried about that :)
Hey Holtzy, we'll have a few spare helmets
Great you are bringing friends Christine! If it is only raining a bit we'll still head out to the car park as we can use the undercover sections. Either way there will be a lot happening around the store and if it is simply too wet, we'll watch skate movies as well as doing some technique demos and info sessions. There will also be the Novice Race in the afternoon which will be fun to watch and will go ahead no matter the weather:)
Bringing two more lady friends with also, can't wait! So stoked but the weather ain't looking promising... fingers crossed!
Ok, so I just managed to convince my girl to attend. I can lend her some gloves, elbow pads and my... Carbon Matrix o.O haha, but she'll need a helmet. I'm buying her a supermodel off a guy on ASRA so hopefully she likes. Great idea and we'll be there (my board is gonna be used by her along with my pads so obviously I won't be skating).
Hella keen!
yeah girls lets have an awesome day together!!!!
Finally a weekend I can be up in Sydney for my maiden skate with the Maidens of Steeze, yayyy!
