So it the person with the least points wins? Otherwise last place cleans up.

Have worked out a race format, that is very basic and simple. I've got a small hand held radio, a couple of these would make the day a lot easier. Marshaling/finish at lane to pits, still open for people to watch and have BBQ. I have a guy dong a video of the event, but a finish line camera I a great idea, know of anyone will to help get in touch with me.

paint on the front leg, easy to see in a tuck? and how will communications work from the bottom to the top? I have some low power radios that MIGHT do the job, but would also chew up a ton of AAA batteries...

Just a few small things to think about. :)

If you finish further down,... where will people sit?

Am I on the finish line? I will need some help. If you run 8 at a time and want everyone to have a placing we need more volunteers to help. Steve also had a guy with a video camera for close finishes. (this person needs to have enough battery power to go all day)
Can you think of a better way to do numbers? Tiny stickers on helmets will make it difficult when youve got to collect the placings from 8 racers.

...food for thought. ;]

Track will be marginly longer. Start line will be up the hill a little frthur on the rough part of the road, and finish at the last corner at the pits.
