Event Description


Time to get into race mode ready for Newtons with round 2 of the Oz Outlaw Nationals; which will take place on the well known Pump Station track in the Blue Mountains.

The race will be spiced up a bit with 4 man heats, unlimited push (up to a set line).

Rules:
- as above unlimited push, up to a line (will be a decent distance).
- No skating down the steep side.

Safety:
- Helmet (fullface if possible), Kneepads and Gloves min.

Rego:
- $20 to be paid on the day

Prizes:
- Prize will be cash (Open & over 40's)
- Placement points will go towards Oz Outlaw National standings.

Local Area
- As per other Pump Station events, be considerate of the locals with your parking.
- Anyone found camping there the night before will not be allowed to compete
- leave it as you found it (rubbish etc)

Schedule
8am - 9am Practice / rider rego
9am - riders meeting
9ish - 9:30 - Race!

Food and Drinks
BYO food and drinks.
Extra water will be sold on the day.

The hill is beginner friendly. Not never-stepped-on-a-board beginner, more like can-skate-down-small-hills beginner. It is closed to traffic, so No Cars to worry about.

how fast is the run? wish i could go but no doubt boarding school won't help the cause... would still like to check out the run though, but i havent really skated anything very fast at all yet, so yeh just wondering if the hill is beginner friendly..?

Hay bales are heavy. Those wanting haybales can carry them down and back up the hill.
Everone is gonna have their own spin on it and not everyones gonna like it.
