Hey Blake, one of my staff gave me last sunday an 8foot piece of bamboo for exactly that reason.  I plan to buy the rubber wheel pusher for the bottom and cut a bit off the top to make the handle part.  That way i can use it for my pintail.

Indeed it does!

But I do have a nice fast run to the bus stop in the morning and from the train station in the arvo, so I'm always able to get some skating in my week!
