Event Description

What

The Space Race is our annual Super Giant Slalom Race. This event is hosted by Blue Mountains Boardriders (BMB) and ASRA.

 

Where

The Pump Station, Blue Mountains. Check this out for a taste of what's to come.

 

When

17 December 2011, from 10am-6pm

 

Format

Single-lane timed runs.  Everyone will get three or four timed runs, depending on time.  The course runs the full 800m length of the Pump Station track. 

This course is longboard friendly.

 

Registration

Rego fee is $30. Registration done via PayPal. Limit of 40 riders.

Safety Requirements

That's wild. You boys do good work! If you use the same course it will be interesting to see how the ramp effects the times; got to be 3 or 4 seconds in it. Enjoy it everyone and see you in the New Year.

PC tells me that the ramp will be definitely be there.

Again, its use will be optional. But recommended!

Ramp? Let's bust out the bungee.

Seriously though, PC's 5' ramp would be great. It's longboard friendly, and it's got some height:

We can set up the timer and start line so those who don't want to go down the ramp don't have to.
