Event Description

Its time for the 3rd K-Valley outlaw showdown!

This is a fun little track with high speed sweepers and a tight hairpin corner tucked away in the beautiful Kangaroo Valley.

Minimum safety requirements are Helmet and Gloves. Full faces and leathers are recommended but not mandatory. If you value your skin i would say wear leather, but if you don't have any don't worry, you can still race as long as you got a lid.

There is a campground at the bottom of the hill so there will be free-riding of the local hills on the saturday followed by camping and racing on sunday.

Entry fee will be around $25, if you wish to contribute more to help pay for petrol for shuttle drivers that would be epic.

There will now be a 32-man heat tree, so if you did not get your name on the riders list it wouldnt hurt to show up, because you will probably still get to race.

There will be cash prizes and also give-aways thanks to Sector 9 and Orangatang. If anyone else would like to get involved as an event sponsor please contact me and we can get some banners organized.

We need helpers! Anyone who wants to help with marshaling, start/finish lines, shuttling, radios and just general radness contact me ASAP.

I would like this event to be documented and filmed, so if there are any cinematographers out there who know their stuff and would like to help film please contact me. I have camera equipment and will be able to swing some dollar but only if your serious and can prove your camera skills.

Ok so there will be a pre-registration for the event. That way we can get rider numbers well in advance to make sure the day runs smooth. also there will be a rider cap as there is just not enough room to run a shit load of people in one day.

If you would like to register please send me a PM and i will put you on the list.

Now this is a first-come-first-serve so if you register you MUST turn up. Please do not only show interest and say "oh yeah im thinking about racing" and not turn up because that will ruin it for other people. so if your serious and you want to race then register NOW.

It will be about $20 to enter and we will have cash and product prizes from Sector 9, Otang and any other sponsors we can conjure up. You will have to pay the $20 on the day. Depending on the interest we might make it $25-$30 entry just to cover costs of petrol to the shuttle drivers.

If you want to come and help out PLEASE let me know and confirm it. We need lots of people to help with radios, start/finish line, shuttle driving and anything else that needs to be done.

It would be rad if we could get coverage for the event so if there are people out there who are skilled with the cameras and want to help out that would be rad. We can supply all the equipment and also talk about swinging some cash as well, but only if you are a serious skilled cinematographer that wants to contribute to the event video.

So everyone, sort out your schedules, make it a weekend with free riding k-valey hills and camping saturday, and racing sunday, and get amongst it!

PM me for to register tto race or register to help out.

probs be less than 32 spots... we will figure out some sort of registration system a few weeks before the event so we we can get full numbers and riders list done before the day, just to make things run smoother.

Like bugz said on this hill it does take time to run the heats so in all fairness to everyone the less racers the better, but we will still have a solid amount to make it a full on day of racing

A sweet hill. Get in fast if there's only 32 places.

considering the 32 riders--yes,this is a gnarly little hill,if you are unsure if you can jam on the brakes or loss epic amounts of speed in a short distance, maybe come down for the weekend, to be part of the radness and help out, check it out, freeride it,jam it and just have a good time,...then youll know wat to be prepared for next time...itll be a really fun weekend..amped!.....finally another techy race.
