Event Description
2 days of Single Lane Slalom earning premium ASRA slalom points!
Sat - Track set up all day.
Start ramp with longest tight slalom course available set up allowing for run out section.
Timed runs Sat and Sunday between 11am and 1.30pm
(we can extend if sufficient demand).

This race will be FREE to all paid up ASRA and IDF members.
everyone else can bring $30 to join ASRA, or do it online on the day.
Premium points, and hangin' with the world's fastest downhill racers makes this the BEST VALUE race of the year....

If time permits, there might also be a "$1 per run Cone Challenge".... you know the score, a seemingly never ending string of evenly spaced cones that when attacked at speed can cause blurred vision, and for some siezures......fastest clean run wins!
It's not planned, so......if you really really really want a Cone Challenge... Dave, Mark and Marek, will get thirsty doing slalom race organising so, buy them cold drinks, until they say yes!

Ok day one Slalom run and done. About 15 or so runners. New guys all getting faster as the day wore on. Thanks to Retro Racer and the souther crew for making it up for the day. Wind and flat laptop battery called a halt about 1pm. So will likely be the same tomorrow. Times? I've got em but my laptop got unplugged this arvo so ill update tomorrow. Suffice to say Dave M, Boomer and Mountain Mick are all front runners.
Zac Maytum put down a time in the 10sec range earlier in the day blowing everyone away.
If your in the downhill and want to run some cones turn up whenever you get a break even if its not in the 11am to 1pm slot and we should be able to get you a time down.

Just to reinforce, entry is free but you need to be a paid up member of ASRA (and sign the waiver) to run cones. Not just a member of the website but a paid up ASRA member (paid up ASRA members have a PREMIUM MEMBER written across their avatar/id pic.)
