it's a sick website, I've been using facebook for...6 months now if not a year, i still can't friggen work that damn website out, but with ASRA, i signed up and everything was right there.
if i had 1 suggestion, it'd be a gear section, i know there's a forum for it, but i mean like, a place where people can submit gear reviews and stuff and then upload it (once it get's the O.K..or not) and then say someone wants to buy a board like a...DH race. They go into the 'gear' tab, then search DH race, then it comes up with a list of reviews, i think that'd be SICK. I'm still new so i don't know much about gear, but i enjoy reading reviews on boards, trucks and wheels, it'd give everyone something to do on a rainy day...apart from sliding =D

sorry to double post, but interesting statistics which i had to share, and i don't know how to quote by just typing (OOH! THAT'S ANOTHER GOOD SUGGESTION) back to that later
did you guys know that in a close combat situation, you have something like 5 times better chance of survival against a gun than a knife?
anyway, back to my other idea, if it'd possible, the quote command type-y thing should be something like [quote] [/quote] or [unquote] or something, if it's possible to change that bugs? something easier to use i spose? =D

The quote syntax and the links to the numbered pages of a discussion are controlled by the people at Ning, not me. So there's nothing I can do on both those requests, sensible though they are.

i check the site with an iphone most of the time and it works well....... but the fucking phone don't do flash and that sucks ass, but it will link to you tube ? go figure ! no vimeo tho ......

you have to type in words, then highlight it and click on the hyperlink, then type in the web address you wish to link to in the pop up box that comes up. Then the words you have highlighted when you pressed the hyperlink button will become a link to a website and will turn blue like this

New Firefox version 3.5 has a compatibility issue with images viewed in colour scheme ICCv2 on monitors will wide gamut levels making images appear over saturated. This affects most images on ASRA that are not seen in flash, I'm working on a fix for this. I will get back to you shortly...

Fix for those punters that have upgraded to firefox 3.5 and found the images for the ASRA site all f*#ked up this is the fix. I won't go into the nerd detail but while firefox 3.5 is a lot faster they have created a colour management system that is bugged out, this will be fixed in release 3.5.1. The fix is simple, just follow these steps:
1. In the address bar, type in: about:Config
2. Locate a setting named: gfx.color_management.mode (copy this setting into the filter bar for quick access)
3. The default mode will be 2. click on the 2 to edit number. Set it to: 0, which means no color management at all!
4. Restart Firefox
Done, now everything is back to normal except you now have a faster browser.
