This poor critter strayed in and munched on a drum line baited shark hook, it somehow twisted free from the anchoring to the shark net and dragged the buoy for some time before tiring and coming ashore. It was still quite alive when the lifeguards removed it from the shallows, and it was later put down by the authorities. The shark was close to flagged swimming areas. I shot all the photos as this all happened right in front of my house in Oct last year.
