broke fibula and tibia .displaced bothe but nothing sticking out.recovery been harder cos of damage done to ankle and foot (tendons ,ligamnts and all that.)finger at 16 wrist at 21 now leg at 42.probably neck at 70 and i'll stop skating.
thats exactly the same injury i got now. I got hit by a car and it ran over my leg skatin on the road and snapped my fibula and tibia clean in half. how long after the break until you could skate?
sorry to hear that Jay.I wouldn't wish that on anyone.been over 6 months for me now.ankle is still giving me grief.but getting better . I was off work for 5 months .your a bit younger than me I think Jay so I'm sure your recovery wont be so geriatric.look after it .Keep elevated .that swelling is no good.Once i started getting around ,a pressure sock helped.masasage is great. as for skating, just a little bit so far.no bombing yet.dropped in to a little halfpipe on sunday.ankle still abit dodge for that I found. all the best and wish you a speedy recovery......same to you Rob ...
