Event Description
Let's start a monthly Sydney slalom sesh - first Tuesday of the month.
I have cones, and a couple of the little "on-board" timers, so we can do some timing. If anybody has more timers, bring them!
There's many different spots in Sydney Park we can use, but this one is a mellow hill. The park is too busy to set a course in daylight, but becomes empty an hour after sunset (and it's beautifully floodlit).
Everybody with an interest in slalom welcome - even beginners.

Come down on July 4 (first Tuesday of the month!) for a little slalom sesh. I've got cones, a timer, and some slalom boards, so just show up and have a go.

The Sydney Park "first-Tuesday-of-the-month" outlaw slalom race is now officially a thing, and congrats to Haggy Strom on winning. Also congrats to first-time slalomer Ben James for cracking the 20 second barrier and getting hooked on improving his time each run.
