If you ever feel those rental helmets you get with ski packs... they are hard as anything because they have been hit and compressed.  If the foam is compressed at all, it means less absorbing of the impact and a harder hit to your head...

So yeah, if you hit it hard and it is damaged, try and replace it.

if you come off again the same way, your more than likely going to hit the same spot of your helmet, which will not have the same structural integrity it once had. if it were me, i would replace it.

make sure you get a hard foam helmet. most skate helmets are made for the skatepark and have thin, squishy foam. you want the ones with the same foam as bike helmets. they tend to be cheaper as well.

you don't have to be going fast to get head trauma like this. its all about the downward force, which doesn't tend to come into play when you are going fast... unless you hit something solid of course.

Nah i didnt have a seizure or anything haha but it hurt a shit load... it wasnt actually that fast, just slid out on some dirt doing a toeside predrift, got highsided and smashed my head

that looks exactly like what i did except i was wearing a helmet...
