Great vid, but in my opinion panning from random brush to skating is a bit cliched now, and hard to do well without a tripod.
Still a cool vid though
haha i do have a tripod, just happened to break that session :/
but yes we shall be going back soon with some more people and make this properly, this is my first video in many many months so all these pointers are good :)
as i said i usually shoot instead of film so the style's a little different, but slowly getting the hang of it haha :)
you shouldn't have to take shitty lines for the camera, ride it like a motherfucker and get Jarrod to get closer to where you are riding. Jarrod, you need to get your hands on a tripod dude, make those panning shots from scenery to skating look a heap better. now go make a video of you riding it like it should be ridden.
we just wanted to try out this style of filmaking for skating, was put together in an afternoon of skating and editing
was filmed with jarrods slr camera
yeah sorry haha i didn't really have much time to choose the cover shot. i left it uploading overnight and just had 10mins to check it out this morning before i had work, plus it was 5 in the morning and i wasn't quite thinking :P
yeahh, we only filmed for like an hour merrick, didn't have much variation on what to choose from, was just getting used to filming because i usually shoot instead.
I use a fujifilm HS10
