what if the association tells you to wear a helmet at all times, especially if your posting a video onto the website of that association and representing yourself as a member?
jacko. I would give credibility to a payed up supporter of ASRA. As a real member you can go to the AGM put forward ideas, put it to a vote and direct your sport. No one will care about rants in ciber space next week. No one can tell you what to do, but I am happy to abide by my association. They tell me to were a helmet at a comp, thats fine.
so what your saying is i can pay $30 to tell you what to do?
glad to here you support the ASRA as a payed up member. sorry I couldn't find you on the list.
I started paying my due's back in the '60's, and I'm pretty sure I'm up to date. I, like many others who have also paid their due's, don't need a $30.00 bus ticket to talk about safety, it's everybodies responsibility to talk about it, to push ALL disciplines forward.
P.S. You also don't have to pay $30.00 to educate the general public, it's done by your actions and words.
Merry Christmas.
I have a meeting with town concil organiser Thursday and will put an idea out there. The Velodrome is a good place to train a you can run the cones both ways but I am looking at a 230 m fresh hotmix street with a slight slope for a slalom. Not sure about down hill but Mt William is about 12 km long but we would never get it. "Tell him he's dreaming"
just as a though while I still can. It seems that the finacial members of ASRA have every right to bring me into line. It is fair and I am happy to listen ,but if your a scab and don't support ASRA with your $30 per year I think you need to find another soap box. But Nate as a payed up member happy to hear you ideas. thanks
thanks
