Ever wondered why slalom courses start with wide and easy cone offsets, then finish with really tight spacing......

I sleep in my ASRA tshirt, and the other night I got reprimanded for not wearing my helmet to bed.

Of course it was a wild night and the steel framed bed head really does leave nasty bruises.

Any of you that know me will now have to watch hours of high grade porn to get that image out of your heads....so sincere apologies for that.

Now lets get this back to the next Slalom race.

We are lighting Springvale Ditch on Australia day....(suppose I had better bung it in events to get on the rankings roster as round 001 2012!)

Dan is working on Stawell, for slalom, and with a bit of luck he will stir some interest up.

Hopefully there could also be a potential down hill event at Halls Gap in the Grampians....(google map it....interesting "little" hills), and our man on the ground there is.... you guessed it.... Dan!

Time to share some love people.....ooops sorry again...

Daniel, here you've got a young man who's traveled to every downhill contest on the world circuit, placed No2 in the world, does both slalom and ditch as well....the guy has paid his skating due's....and your logic is that what Jacko's saying has no credability if he wasn't a member, but pay $30.00 and your word suddenly means something.

Wow, aren't you glad you paid your $30.00 Jacko.

so what your saying is you dont believe in common sense and wont listen to the advice of others unless its brought up in a general meeting by people who pay money?

if you dont want to wear a helmet, thats fine, no one is forcing you to.. there are just a bunch of people here who are trying to look out for their fellow skaters and giving serious tips and raising important safety concerns and your just throwing it back in their face and refusing to listen if they have not paid a $30 fee, and your saying that if you are not a paid member of this site your voice and opinions are not valid?

I think it may be like religion, pick what you want or none at all. Join the one you want and follow there rules. If ASRA was to stop photos and videos of all things wrong, SA riders would have to ware standards appoved helmets. No images of riders on 50km/h + roads. I don't tell people not to drink but it kills a lot more people than not using a helmet. I do use a helmet, just got a full face bell yesterday but it dosen't mean it will give me more protection than common sence. Unfortunatly people can get hurt and die even with a helmet. Please put your ideas to the next ASRA meeting for a vote. thanks

i have joined... and i have been a paid member year in year out for a number of years... but your still revolving around the scenario that you only listen to what people say if they pay money? i dont get your logic...
