ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

My brother knocked this video up in about an hour, after the race.
Unfortunetly, he didn't film any of my bails.
I took five or so hard knocks in the practise runs. (stupid toesides)

The guy in leathers is SteveC, who obliterated everyone and took 1st will ease. Good stuff SteveC!

WORLDS FIRST DRIFT RACE!
Held at Baskerville, Tasmania, Australia

Ended up placing third =)
This is the first comp I've ever entered so far.
And a drift race comp hasn't been held before.

Thanks to Ado @ CRE8IVE SK8 for supplying the prize packs.

Rode a Landy Switch, Indy trucks, Reflex/Jimz bushings, Abec 5 bearings, 69mm 83a Urban Sk8er wheels.

Thanks for watching =)

@ Benbro, the aim was to slide through each gate. Competitors were judged on their slides. Consistancy was a big thing. Come along to the next one =)

dont understand,if its a race why drift when u can rail thru it holding speed,...like why would you slide and give the lead to the guy who does a smaller slide,......i can understand a drift race on a hill that you have to drift to make it,but then thats just a race wich involves drifting....or did u get judged on your slides aswell as who finished first?
when this event was first announced i thought it would explain itself in time but im still confused
