Foolishness
Clip from a long while back my buddy just sent me...decided to bomb a hill for a friend and show off a bit for camera but never even got that far.
I only had my board and I had no safety gear at the time but as it was my local run I thought it would be fine.
It wasn't. The crash resulted in 6 stitches in my hip (see other video)
It was the last time I skated without a helmet.
Take heed. It can come when you're least expecting it.

If I was hitting Bondi Rd I'd be most expecting it....
There's a pretty high probability of wearing some yummy-mummy's Prado/Cayenne/Cherokee as she veers into you while doing her nails.
