and the cyclists in my area farken hate longboarders, they see you coming to over take, coz they are so god damn slow and then they try to block you.  DO YOU WANT TO DIE YOU FARKEN IDIOTS!!!

Haters gonna hate. Skaters gonna skate.

Authority always fails to realize that attempting to ban an activity will most likely unify and strengthen that very activity.

Should we entertain the idea of permits and insurance?

"No lines marked" is a bullshit rule, all of us have been turned away from these so called, LEGAL spots.

It's much easier to brake on a bike. Any idiot can do it, even at high speed, whereas on a skateboard it requires a lot of skill and experience, and even then people still crash a lot more than cyclists do. Still, it's not all that different.

At one point in the video, the policewoman says something to the effect that "roads are not for recreation" which is a curious statement - it would mean that people "just out for a drive", as well as cyclists "just out for a ride" would be as guilty as skateboarders.

Yeah, I understand the classification Josh. I was referring to the difference between a group of cyclists and boardriders coming down the hills as far as being a danger to themselves or other road users. I think for the sake of our sport we need to ensure that each of us remain safe and free from rage against those that oppose our fun.

What's the difference between a group of Cyclists and Longboarders?
