I have since taken the bears off it and put it on my drop speed, along with 80a inheats.
For me, I was just starting to learn to footbreak and wasnt as good at pushing, so the avenger seemed way too high. I am only 13, but I am around 180cm tall, and it wasnt too big for me. with unflipped bears and some fairly loose venom dh, i took it to 75 no probs. havent been to any faster hills with it, but Im certain the board could have handled it.
Its 42inch, while the new one is 39inch. i think (or 38) either way, its smaller.
Depending on how tall u are, how long you like ur board to be, and how big ur tuck is, then the avenger may be too big. it wasnt for me, and I think if i sell it, i might get a demonseed for extreme comfort and stability.
My drop speed is 39.25, and its a bit small. my foot fits the front good, but kinda touches the back truck. Drop knee is death, seeing as I can barely find the back of the board.
However, It is an awesome board. Its stable, turns well, and is symmetrical, which saves having to fling it around with my foot whenever i want to ride it.
Although the avenger does not have any trucks on it, i could set it up and maybe bring it to a skate session. I am in contact with your brother, And Im coming down to stay at my unit at Burleigh Heads on Saturday. (only three days of school left, YAY!!!!!!)
We will have to have a massive skate session, either at race track, reedy, wallaby, tierney, or any other good spots.
Or if you ever come up to brisbane, me and my mates have every rayne dh board to try out, as well as an evo, a chinook a drop speed, and countless glydes.
Catch up soon,
Isaac
