Fair keen ha, its sad that I have nothing to do but longboard on christmas eve xD
ps how old are you haha? and whats your mobile. Dw im only 17, not a pedo haha
Devo as haha, its sunny now but apparently it is suppost to rain today :| Feel like a session one day where we could teach each other? Cos Id like to Freeride but at the moment i would just slow you down when we go for runs haha.
Umm not sure. Id like to but I dont think it would be a wise idea to hit up KV since Im a flatland rider who just started Freeriding a couple of days ago haha. I still have to practice freeriding abit more before I get serious with it.
How'd you learn to freeride?
And ever thought about learning some tricks on the flatland department cos I can help there ha. Cheers
Wow that sucks haha, I wish i checked my asra profile earlier. Me and my mate have been out all day flatland riding and doing some sweet tricks on my new tan tien. you coulda came and chilled with us too.
Are you going to the south coast sessions tomorrow?? Cheers
What kind of hills you thinking of bombing?? Cos i dont have any DH gear haha. I just flip my paris trucks to 40degrees and tighten them up heaps on the dervish haha. And then I pray xD
Ha awesome im from warilla. I do alot of carving/dancing on my dervish & dancer but ive been hitting a couple of hills latly and making some videos. I just learnt how to do some stand up slides ha. What style do you do and If you want to board sometime hit us up aye Cheers
Yeh dude, material gloves wouldnt be a bad idea coming up to summer, especially if youre just wanting them for freeride. You'll get the sides and knuckles scuffed, but thats just gloves. I was rocking home made material gloves for a while there, but came off in front of a friend and he ran over my hand doing about 60-65 and it ripped right through the glove and minced my finger up. Leather gloves for me these days.
Sorry for bringing the convo onto your page, just try and keep general banter off the recent news feed on the ASRA homepage.
You good for a skate saturday morning then? I'll aim to be down at Edith Road at about 10:30. A few other boys might come down too. 0415 315 868s my number
Hey man, Welcome!
No haters here! just guys and girls that are serious about seeing this sport grow in a healthy way, with respect from the authorities and the community in general.
But yeh! Getting tapped into a local crew is the best way to start hitting mountains! Which local hills have you been hitting man? Keira is an interesting case. Its one of the spots where some of the best riders in the country cut their teeth and learnt downhill, and many of sydney's best riders come down and ride it regularly, we're just so blessed to have it as our local and we've got to treat it with respect. It can easily be a pretty chilled run, or a balls-out 70kmh run the whole way down – but theres traffic, residents, sight seers, police.. everyone uses that hill. The corners will bring you undone if you're not ready for them, and its dudes coming loose around corners, or unconfident dudes holding up traffic that gets hills closed for good – and thats why people are protective of Keira, and all other sweet hills for that matter. If you're not sure if you're ready, let us take you to some quieter runs that have similar corners and work your way up! Heck, Mick Mack wouldn’t let us on Keira for months until he thought we were ready, but he definitely did the right thing and we thank him for it. Enough banter! See you on the hill soon!!
