Jacko will update the shipped orders in the morning, you'll get an email then. Your board left today or it will be shipped tomorrow. So it will arrive Thursday or Friday.
It is all hands on deck at the hopshop. There is a longboard feeding frenzy at the moment, we are trying to organise Newtons and pack and ship orders, plus put new stock online!!
One thing should always hold true. We look after customers, give the right advice, only sell 100% top quality gear. You have a problem, I have a problem. Heaps of orders left today, more leaving tomorrow. Thanks for the order, let me know if there are any problems. Hop.
yer. i'm used to riding drop down style boards and i didn't get enough time to on Jacko's board to get the feel of the topmount design. so i can't really answer any questions about it. what i can say is the contoured platform really locks your feet in and truly feels amazing. if your into topmounts i'd say its one of the best on the market and the one for you. however if you've never really done much riding on topmounts and want to give one a try, you might want to choose one of the many cheaper topmounts on the market just in case you find you don't like the way they feel.
Yeh, just the deck. Graphics look sweet also.
I've spoken to Dougie, Oliver and Leigh, they all saying how good the board is.... so I think I have made up my mind :) Oliver might be hitting up linden sat with us.... wanna come?
all i need to do now is get sum1 to buy my psp n shit n im ordering ASAP! cant wait! im getting my dp as the pic on my board. Not sure if he can do it in colour or not :S we will have to see. dude there 265 including postage sell ur sector n get 1! we can be brothers xD haha
you can still do DH on a Dervish. one of the guys down south often does Willunga hill on a Dervish, so it aint possible. it comes down to the rider skills.
yeah i do get my gear from Hopkin. it can sometimes be a tad more expensive than Boardshop, but postage is much quicker and customer service seems to be much better from what i've heard.
nah, i started on the Evo as speed was the thing i was aiming for. but it was such a pain in the ass for cruising and getting to and from TAFE. so i got the Dervish for carving and commuting and i couldn't be happier.
all depends on where your interests are, but what i should have done was go for something that can do a bit DH and a bit of cruising. the Dervish and the Evo are pretty much opposites, so something in-between would of been a better choice as a first board.
that was where we started. its a good place to learn to tuck, draft and slide, but thats about all.
check out the latest video i posted on McAdelaide. that was this arvo and as you can see, its a cool little spot for sliding.
cool man. any hills that are steep and windy, but the one i ride most is probably Eagle with the rest of the crew (even though i'm getting a bit sick of it).
