I was wearing them. Anyone that goes from the top of eagle without full leather is fucked if they come of at 65-75. My leathers don't go all the way down to the ankle (there’s about 2inchs of skin exposed) and that’s where I got RR even with those socks on.

They are just sport sock that I use for hockey. I wear them because it saves your skin from RR. I had my first high speed fall at about 70, last weekend at the top section of eagle and it saved my ankle from bad RR as I slid along the road.

Converse skate shoes from harbour town for $70 but have not put conveyor belt on them yet as I want to try car tyre. But normally I wear old shitty shoes like my Nike air runners with conveyor belt on the foot break shoe or old shitty Dunlop runners (don’t have conveyor belt yet). The problem with runners is that the mesh on the sides of the shoe get torn up in a fall or when your in a colemen position for cornering/ sliding on the grip tap.

hahaha, howd u find out? yeah well it was a while ago like when i first started skating, went out late one night by myself and sent down a hill. tried a toeside slide, the board gripped and i got flung off highside straight onto the back of my head (no helmet). got knocked out for about 5-10mins not sure, and went to hospital but then realised everything tasted the same!! sucked balls, lasted about a year, all good now though. and i always wear a helmet now, so theres a lesso to be learnt~!!!!!

well if your mainly gonna be cruising mellow hills and carparks, then i can understand why. its not the most practical cruiser. the sector 9 you've got should be your cruiser. if its not carvy enough then you need to play around with the bushing set-up.
get the Hellcat for DH and Freeriding (freeriding is basically DH with lots of fast carving, sliding and playing around on your board. its not the same as your average cruising/carving).

go for it dude. its a sweet board. just get some softer bushings for the carparks and carving and you'll be sweet. definitely an awesome all rounder.

Sorry Jonty,... I missed your message.
Shoemakers that you see in shopping malls dont really have the ability to put this kind of sole on sneakers.
Talk to Judge K,.. he has a bootmaker friend that will do the job for you.

which deck? the drop 43? im not sure if they have any in stock, maybe one... the reason why no one has them is that there are none in australia. The guys making them are getting a new batch done at the moment and they will be in stock in a few weeks

83a Loaded Orangatang "In Heat" 75mm x2
Gullwing Bomber Trucks 10" x2
Bones Reds Bearings
Omni with Edger grip tap

Yeah you can try it if I get it today and if I get a ride to BHC. Yes I have been to BHC before but we have found a better place near Belair.

Mate,

the only thing I'd have would be a Pocket Pistol Hill Killer top mount or the Omni topmount pintai DH board, either for $170 gripped and shipped.

Jonty,

only got one of those Omni decks and gave Mark first option on it. If he doesn't want it it is yours if you want it.

OMNI drop DH deck 43" $175
-Orangatang In Heats-2x 80a, 2x 83a $100
-Bones Reds $25
-Randal RII 180-probably 45* $100
-Bushings (apparently you don't have venoms) $20 max for normals or $30 for Jim Z's
- Hardware, pads, bearing spacers, etc $nil

Postage included.

Have evrything ready to go if Mark doesn't want the board.

Cheers
