I've lurked the Charlie don't skate site before, some names here familiar. A friend got me interested in skating again, so been playing around last couple of years, we generally skate at Old Park old ditch thing at Peakhurst and Kempt Field with our kids, we usually set up cones on the netball courts at Olds. We went to Kempt Field one day when the CDS people organised a longboarding day. Weren't real social but chatted to a couple of people, there was a guy taking pics and I am there on the CDS site somewhere, my mate has a big funny rolls rolls cruising longboard if you were there and remember? I had my home made deck which has now snapped, so glad to have new one that arrived today, can't wait to get it rolling. In the 80's I used to skate at Fivedock and Kempt Field (grew up right near there and I am pretty sure I was the very first person to skate on the now burried donut there). But was never real good, and still am a hack, but it's fun; and I am now going faster than I ever did before, it just hurts more to fall over at this age! Look forward to seeing the site build up!
