never!!! not even with bears.

 

just lowers the ride and makes the turn feel dead which for some = more stable

Jezza, don't know if the top is glassed but if it is, countersinking would be a very bad idea. It delaminates the glass around the holes.

no glass in that,

but yeah, not a fantastic idea when the board has glass
