Short skirt, high heels and a skateboard...what is this, some sort of Mad Men retro skateboarding world? Has the world of advertising not progressed at all in the last few decades?

I reckon this is cheap, sleazy, and just another barrier to more girls/women taking up skateboarding. For guys out there wanting to meet a girl who shares their interest in skateboarding, photos like this work against you.

looking at too deeply bugs, boards and legs to nice looking things, its a tasteful shot of the girl and the board, i think.  granted sneakers would have been a better choice than high heels tho

All trav is doing is showing the best part of the pic which is the skateboard. Its just incidental the legs are also in the shot.
