My normal riding position for carving and downhill is with my left foot on the front truck and my rear on the hip. I like the flex with the longer wheel base and zero chance of wheel bite in the rear if I am running a 25 degree rear base plate and a 65 degree up front. This set up works very well for high speed as well as LDP. For LDP, my left foot stays on the nose and my right goes to the waist of the board for better pumping efficiency.
