IMO that board would be super awesome for commuting/carving with randal 42 degrees. would even make a rad freerider.

Hi Michael, I am a newb to the longboarding scene so I appreciate your advice. I need to get used to the board and then see what setup works for me.

super true man but knowing what you plan to use the board for will help you a shipload, people here have tried and tested a lot of setups and will be able to guide you in the right direction and save you some cash
