did you bomb drop that or did you really get that much air out of it? i remember going there in the mid 90's and it was so awkward to skate

That was my 15th birthday in 88 and I just jumped off the fence (didn't know the camera was out)

... so it's a total fake.

We where doing alot of huge boneless's and holding  the fence as we landed them but never had enough speed to get that high. Was that the first bowl in qld?

Fun place wish I'd thought to skate the waterslide...

it's still there. man the waterslide would be gnarly as fuck. its real tight and then cradles around into a small landing pool. not sure how old the bowl is but its super steep under the bridge.i think its about 6 foot, has about  3-4 foot of vert with very minimal transition at the bottom.

lets hit it next time there's a coast session on.

Going to check out a private driveway between  Lukes rd and Solar st at Mt Cooroy. If you get there first keep it under wraps its gonna be crazy gnarly.

Yeah thats the one. We call it the next level cause it's crazy steep narrow and twisted. Got permission to roll there but it will be a secret session. Will let you know when.

Memories I went there in 86 on my plastic lime green toyworld special. Fun day. They had a big comp there on a big quarter pipe.

yeh as far as old bowls, there apparently was a bowl in Buderim/ Tanawah in the mid 80's where that spiral waterslide used to be. It's now a big new age Church, but back in the day there used to be a roller skate rink that i remember going to in teh late 80's, but ive recently been told that there was a skate bowl out the back.
