Bearings aren't forever.
If you thrash em, they die.

thats a bearing fail not a core fail... if the core blew out the bearings would still be intact, minus a few scrape marks from if they hit the road when the wheel blew out...

seems to me like your bearing seized up while riding, causing it to stop turning and then the hub of the wheel spins against the bearing itself, causing it to heat up and explode

bearings are reds. wheels would have been mid/late 09? i had the spacer in and it was my first run ever on EOTH so im preddy dissapointed. Now ive got smokeys/80A inheats/bear 10mm bearings on a loan off a mate but think they will ride like **** on the dervish until i get a new board...

aahahaha
thats bound to happen when you make your wheels from scooter hubs..
but i guess that no wheel could handle a red hot bearing....
