How not to bail a toeside shutdown slide

Don't try stepping off your board while your body's rotating. Doesn't end well. Probably no skating for a year.

It was gnarly. I heard and felt them snap. Came off a toeside messily and spun around my foot as it gripped the road. *SNAP*

8 - 12 months out of action the doctor reckons. Dirty big bar bolted in there now. Not cool. If I had put kneepads on I could have slid it out properly and avoided this.

Wife was expecting it to happen sooner or later... She's seen much worse working in a hospital.
