Been skatin all my life (35now) but before I started downhill skateboarding (longboarding) 4years ago, I did"nt uses a helmet.(Only in big bowls). From reseaching the longboard culture on ASRA and Silverfish I soon realised The folly of my ways.Thats when I started to use a helmet (thank god). After that I hitting my head  3 times over the 4 years whilst downhill skatboarding.THE SPORT IS VERY DANGEROUS. (YOU DONT SEE IT COMING) if i didnt have a one on i would be FUCKED. Now I always  use a helmet, in any type of skateboarding, downhill slalom street bowl....cruisin. HELMETS ARE COOL!!!!!
