ola amigo!

hey guess, i attempted to make a board a few weeks ago, didnt work to well!
but any way, since then ive found this awsome website, got some ideas and made a small press.

the press is nearly complete, and ready to use, but i was just after a few pointers n tips,

at the moment im using sum kind of hardwood ply (i know this is crap, i picked it up stupidly cheap, and its just a prototype)

should i soak the ply first? just to help it bend, i know u do this for steam bending? i think??, but is it ok to do it in just a normal press? cant hurt can it?

also i was talking to my friends, and they metioned instead of bendind multipule peices at once (the whole board), maybe just bend  2 at a time?
eg; 2 layers glued, in press let it set for 24 hours plus....then glue another layer of ply, back in press for 24 hours plus.....and repeat untill desired thinkness!

is this a good idea? or no?

also, fibreglass!

is fibreglass better on the outside of the board (top, bottom)....or sandwiched inbetween the layers of ply?

one more thing, once i get some money , im goin to buy sum good ply,

what type and thickness of ply would u recomend?
and what type of adhesive? is normal wood glue?

thanks heaps guys! any input and help on this would be great!

skate on!
