My failed first build and should work second!!!

Recently i have been making a board for carving. It is 1m long and way to flexible,so I ditched it and im going to make a smaller board. I would like to make a small kick on it like on the tan tien. Im using 6mm 5ply but i dont know if the wood will bend like that. i will make a rib press to do it in. i also used selleys liquid nails to glue it but when i stand on it the board separates and the top layer sides out-wards. should i just use pva?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

I asked a guy at a carbatec store, and he said titebond 2 works better than titebond 3 because of some of the features in titebond 2 are more suited to making boards.

OK. they're both great glues. I discussed this with Ted from Roarockit some time ago and the stress testing they do showed better overall strength with III but they key feature as to why they use and recommend it is due to the longer wet time which gives you more time to get your project right and all lined up before the glue begins to "skin"... But it's slightly cheaper to get II and still a great glue.
