Home made board (tips needed)

Hey guys this is my first attempt at making a board i would like some advice as im only 14 and wouldn't mind trying to sell after i can get them perfect every time.

umm i got it from briggs veneers its called skateboard veneer i think its some kind of maple, but i will be going down to pick up some veneers whats a good wood to use

mate there are heaps bamboo is a favourite there maple, rock maple is definately one of the top woods pine is a no-no unless ts hoop pine which is what i make my boards out of
