Very cool. Did you use a belt sander to make your press?

Post this up in the board builder forum http://www.skateboardracing.org.au/group/boardbuilders?xg_source=ac...

You'll get feed back from enthusiast like yourself! Keep up the good work.

yep we used a belt sander to make an even concave, alright cheers ill upload it now

Yeah read through that thread! sanding that massive block looks very time consuming - lots of other methods available!

haha wait don't worry what we did was there all individual pieces and made each one larger than the other to make a concave then we used a belt sander do make it smooth then filled with builders bog to get rid of any imperfections :)

i doff my hat to u sir very nice press with some refinement u could be making some extremely nice boards

Thanks, any tips or ideas im thinking of making a new jig in the next few days.

and i just bought a vacuum bag and going to get some fibre glass tomorrow, so hopefully my next board will be really solid

a tip with fibreglass do NOT put it in the middle of the board put it on the outside because if the fibreglass is "inside" the board it provides no structural advantages its up to you how mny layers you use an yway glad to give you some insight into board building

hey thanks heeps, i was thinking of putting it just before the outside layers, would you recommend that

how many layers?

7 layers at the moment

yeah should be good on the outer 2 layers what wood are you using?
