cut up a tyre they last for so long
either that, sakamoto, or try and find recycled, compressed rubber sheets, alternatively, clark rubber, 6mm or 3mm sheets of rubber.
talk to daniel hawes his are great!!!
I have 6mm clark rubber that you can have for $10. It doesn't last as long as car tire, but it's nice and grippy.
wreckers 1 tyre will last ages

strip a tyre mate, everything else is shit.

if you couldn't be fcked then i have a mate who is doing it and selling strips big enough for a shoe.

do you guys cut off the sidewall of the tyre? cause the tread part has steel cables through it so its hard to cut. i cut the sidewall off a tyre, but its not wide enough hahah
Thanks for all your replies.  Cre8ive skate has sorted me out. (and now has none left).
clark rubber is pretty bad

leave the sidewall on, make 2 cuts the circumference of the wheel to the wire on the tread part; one cut across the tread then attempt to peel the tread off the wire... like filleting a fish.

try not to cut your finger off.

It's cheap, is easy to cut and lasts long enough, having said that, I would rather run with recycled rubber for freeriding and replace it twice as much, and car tyre for race...
