has a bit of a grad and is good for practicing sliding?

Needs to be fairly traffic free...?

Am I asking too much?

good runs everywhere. it all depends on what you call traffic. there will always be cars, albeit expensive sports or SUV type cars but cars none the less. good run from top of paddington on oxford st is down jersey rd (light brigade hotel), onto hargraves on to cascade st into a stop sign . and yo gotta slide. its a sweet run. also rad hills into Bronte. don't know names though.
OR city to surf they close the roads and its play time.
the best thing is cause its a rich area the council put alot of effort into the roads, same as mosman, north sydney. primo roads and loads of hills.
I'm new to sydney and new to longboarding... but eager to learn.
Might check out some those areas tomorrow.
Don't want anything too steep..

thanks for the reply : ]

Dude I'm in a similar position. I've been into Longboarding for about 2 months and am still getting used to it and very eager to get better aswell. Where in Sydney are you? We can go scouting for some good roads or I can show you some local places around my area that I use to practice if you're interested.
Up behind the palace there are some great corners and hills with not that much traffic, and from the top of the hill like arden st or beach road there are a multitude of runs which can all end at the clovelly carpark which are all prretty fast and long and the last bit is all one way, sweet!! (grab a beer at the cloey on the way back up)
