if its not a race what is it? just a fun event where everyone gets to go down the hill?
jsut wondering
Thanks for reminding me, Adolf.
I've ridden my buttboard down Mt Stuart a fair bit over the last 12 months. I know it is a very technical and unforgiving course.
Having big rubber brake soles and lying down on a classic luge has saved me from a number of near catastrophes.
At BTB this year I'd like to have a go at doing some stand-up. Not trying to go mega fast, just want to build my stand-up skills.
Are there any experienced riders out there who would be willing to spare a bit of time at BTB to give a 43 year old skating tragic a few tips / traps about riding down the hill?
Hopefully I won't interfere with your skating too much. I just want a hand getting started and a bit of coaching.
Any help greatly appreciated.
