ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Finally we have all the info we needed, but there is a big downside.

Unlike the 2009 and 2010 ASRA/IGSA events at Mt. Panorama, this year we are being governed by Newton’s Nation themselves as far as equipment hire, placement of clinic and passes are concerned.

Unfortunately instead of the $300 - $400 we have been paying, this year we are being charged nearly $2000. Putting this on top of our regular $2,100 outgoings (there are no wage costs this is all done voluntarily) leaves us with a $4,000 bill.

With a $4,000 target to reach in order to break even, we are not in a position to offer a clinic or treatments at Newton’s Nation (our average take up has been 30 riders this will mean raising our package price from $65 to $134 and this will not be an affordable price for the majority of riders)

We would like to thank all those that have supported us since 2009 and hope that in the future a way can be found to offer affordable Sports Therapy packages to all riders at every stop on the IGSA World Series, as up to now Australia has been the only one able to offer this.

For those who have paid in full or in part, you will be contacted by the close of business Tuesday 14th February 2012 to arrange a full refund.

 Ride well, ride safe
