ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Mostly for Kookyfish whom I asked about skating this road - have you skated it yourself?

Did one run down it this morning. Great road! 10km of steep DH, 3 or so hairpins and plenty of lesser corners.

Photos were just by the driver unfortunately.. but heres one more taken by a bettter photographer, just out of Takaka:

Pretty rough in places, but skateable everywhere. All but one corner was smooth, came somewhat close to bailing on the one rough corner. Super fun run and long! My decent would have been over 10 mins. Not sure about speeds but I'm sure you could get well over 80.
it must be longer than 10k's if it took you over 10 mins... we have a 12k run that has MAX speeds of about 70 and you get down in about 6 or 7 mins...
12km / .1 hours (6 mins) = 120 kph!
