Any good longboarding quiet spots here in St Leonards for beginners? I'm new to longboarding and trying to practice some slide etc etc. Thanks in advance.

there is some fun little alley ways around the hopshop in st leonards(hopkin skate),not to busy, usually someone else around having a skate to share some cnr spotting etc,.

Is this the spot near the tennis court the way going to Naremburn Park?

Opposite the St Leonards Station at the Chandos Street side  is the Alto Service Centre. On weekends it is free of cars and devoid of any obstacles. It is a nice smooth, gently falling piece of bitumen. It is a really great place to learn without causing you or anyone else any grief. Then you can step it up to the laneways that Benbro is alluding to which are to the east of the HopShop and they run off the main laneway which runs parallel to Chandos Street. Skate safe.
