What wheels do you have?

Do you have gloves?

To start learning, just get a big empty area and try and turn tighter and tighter.  You will start drifting.

Now if you get lower and have your hand out, if you do slide out you can catch yourself.

When you feel comfy with the point that the wheels stop gripping, introduce grabbing the rail over your back leg (watch vids if you don't know what I mean).

Carve the opposite way you want to slide then rip it in the other direction, should loose grip and go sideways.

It just takes practice to control, face the direction you want the board to face, lead with the shoulders.  Again, watch vids.

Use trucks that are loose and turn, not cranked down so hard that you need to stand on one side to turn.

what i started to do is begin learning a simple 180 slide just gradually come up carving harder and harder then ending up pushing all the way to a 180. i learnt to do these pretty well and then i learnt switch 180s which just got a bit of getting used to. then get to a moderate hill just so u can learn to do a pendy or a coleman (alot of videos explaining how to do these) and then u gradually get more confidence and there u go ur ready to shred
what setup u got on the platypus
