hey justs aw a 7 news update thing on about a group 5-10 skaters in the goldoast and something about police. whats it all about?

This weeks Gold Coast weekend Bulletin has pretty much the whole of page 3 given over to to Jeremy Rogers in answer to last weeks press coverage; entitlted "Taking on the world...skaters just want to race" it leaves the whole situation very nicely balanced and as is usually the case in most situations of this type it is the last coverage people will remember. In this case a very positive one especially with the Gold Coast Police Superintendent quoted as saying, "While racing on the road was illegal, skaters could legally go down hills one at a time, provided they did not cross the centre line and kept to the left"
I think that is a huge step in the right direction, giving permission for skating on marked roads throughout the Gold Coast
