Skate Park Opening
Penneshaw (Kangaroo Island) has just about completed it's first skate park since white man settlement in the early 1800's.
To celebrate, an official opening will be held in early March featuring Demo Skaters from Adelaide, live music and DJ's, Skate Australia Clinics and finished off by me getting smashed in the pub araound the corner.
I have been asked to bring my gear down for "show and tell" on the day to try and involve as many different skate types as possible. I have also been asked to try and get my hands on some free "shit" to hand out to the kiddies (stickers, patches, chewing gum anything really) and wondered if anyone could help me out. This may be a pretty good opportunity for some of you to advertise. Kangaroo Island currently has nothing in the way of a skate shop which means local skaters are going to be searching the internet for any skate equipment. Be it pads, helmets, nuts, botlts, trucks or wheels. If you are interested in providing something it would be greatly appreciated and at the same time if you want to send some stuff down to sell we might be able to sort something out with that to.
I have also been told that a few more Demo skaters may be needed so if you skate in parks (well) and wanna come down chuck me line. We may be able to organise a free plane or ferry fee over to the Island and accomodation isnt a problem.

That would be sweet Hop, I will give you a call sometime this weekend. I have been out catching Fur Sel pups all week so havent had a chance to organise much so I will try and get myself organised.

haha, no shit, i wanna try both of those with him :p we were sposed to be catchin turkeys last time i was over there, but we jus got pissed at a local pub an chasing skirts instead!
