Hey Crew. So we and my mates went over to Springy Ditch the other day cause it'd been a while. Unfortunately, despite it being a rather hot and sunny day, there were massive algae patches all along the drop in side. We talkin big, wide, and long patches. We didn't even bother pumping over the first hole/pipe in the wall half way down the run. Is this something I should be concerned about, and do we need to get a work party down there to sort something out, or will it dry itself out by summer? Cause it was a real bummer making the journey out there, only to end up staying for 20 mins...

Oliver,
It should be dry by summer.
There is water seepage from the vacant lot which will need a few hot days to dry, and the slippery algae will persist while there is water.
Best to hit Bulleen or Elwood instead. Taylor's hill also has a bit of ditch like banking o practice on.

Sweet. Cheers Bernie.
