Hello fellow skaters
I will be attending Newton's this year with the intention of making a documentary about it. Two of us will be heading up with camera gear and computers and try to capture Australia's first ever IGSA world cup for the world to see. It recently dawned to me that I don't have a hell of a lot of music to use and with copyright being such a massive thing these days it is becoming hard to find legit and good music for films. So my question to you is, who owns the rights to their original music? and if you are this person would you feel willing to donate your creative goodness to the cause?
It would be fantastic if I could get some original music to use that way I don't breach copyright and Australian musicians get exposure. I will credit you appropriately and make sure that people know that its our music they are listing to. Unfortunately I'm not Kerry Paker so I can't pay you for your music so any generous donations will be kindly welcomed.
Remember it's about growing the exposure of Australian Downhill and making a badass video. I'm not trying to exploit you at all so don't get the wrong idea. If you are intersted post up links to your Myspace page, Lastfm e.t.c
Regards
Luke
