Moving to Mackay

So im moving from NZ to Mackay Australia in April...Huge step in lifestyle changes, and I was wondering anyone is in the region who I could maybe meet up with one day to show me some spots and just to have a sesh with ? I mean skating fun, but with mates it's x100 better and I want some to jam out with so im not alone in this big town...
