Just saw on Facebook that Phil Champion qual'd 3rd for Buttboard then crashed in a heat and has broken both bones in his leg. He is awaiting surgery and they are going to have to plate both bones. Best wishes going out to him and hopes for a speedy recovery.

Great news to see a 2nd and 3rd in the Qualifying for our Oz riders, As Phill gos into surgery Nic McKirdy is left holding the torch for Australian Classic and Luge .A fantastic time puts Nic in a prime position going into the finals. Shapieras 2nd in the DH coud see a tuff finals draw up the pointy end,
