ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

The gorge is going to be closed on the 19th to the 22nd of Jan, and i say this is the perfect time to go hit the corners on the technical side... I doubt we will be allowed to get cars onto the road at this time but we had a little talk with the police last time we were there and they said we were allowed to skate the road when it was closed, so that means walking back up the hill...
If anyone wants to get in touch with the council and see if we can organize a free-ride day where we can get a transport vehicle on the road to take us back up the hill after each run that would be sick, otherwise im keen for a massive corner session day on the tech side, working our way down the gorge and hitting each spot and then just do the big walk back up at the end of the day.
This road is pretty dangerous even when there will be no traffic so please consider your skill level before attempting to skate it. Every person i have taken here has crashed at least once, and that was on the mellow side! But all in all it is a sick road and must be skated!

Because it's so close to me, I'll definitly come along. I doubt I will do a full bomb, but will be tackling the corners for sure.

P.S. - Do we know why the road is going to be closed exactly?
Corner session from hell? Sounds good.
im guessing there will be road works or bridge works or something... and yes it will be the corner session of death. Definitely not for the feint of heart
Suicide Run and crap I'll be out of OZ, Bugger,Shit,Bloody Hell. Wish it was closed the 18th.
